Un total de 3.039 construcciones se han visto afectadas desde el inicio de la actividad volcánica, el pasado 19 de septiembre, de las cuales cerca de 3.000 han sido destruidas en su totalidad, según los datos del satélite Copernicus que recoge el Plan Pevolca. El aeropuerto sigue operativo y Binter, ha anunciado que retoma la operatividad con La Palma después de que este martes las aerolíneas se vieran obligadas a suspender vuelos por la variabilidad de la nube de cenizas.
