La Diputación de Málaga y Unicaja han firmado un acuerdo para acercar las operaciones a algunos municipios de la provincia. En concreto, se van a instalar cajeros automáticos en nueve localidades con poca población y en las que no haya sucursales bancarias cerca. El objetivo es que las personas que residan en estas poblaciones puedan realizar operaciones bancarias sin tener que desplazarse a otros municipios. Estos nueve cajeros automáticos se instalarán, inicialmente, en Algatocín, Júzcar, Benalauría, Jimera de Líbar, Serrato, Arenas, Canillas de Albaida, Cútar y Macharaviaya. Todos ellos suman en total poco más de 5.000 habitantes. El acuerdo también incluye un proyecto de educación financiera promovido por la Fundación Unicaja dirigido, especialmente, a la población rural y colectivos vulnerables.

The Diputación de Málaga and Unicaja have signed an agreement to bring operations closer to some municipalities in the province. Specifically, ATMs will be installed in nine sparsely populated towns where there are no nearby bank branches. The objective is that people residing in these towns can carry out banking operations without having to travel to other municipalities.
