El Juzgado de los Penal número 3 de Málaga ha condenado al alcalde de Almogía, Cristóbla Torreblanca, por un delito de prevaricación urbanística. Se le condena a pagar una multa de 2.700 euros y no podrá ejercer ningún cargo público durante 5 años y 3 meses. Así lo ha decidido el juez en el juicio por el que se juzgaba al regidor de este municipio malagueño por autorizar unas obras irregulares para la reforma y ampliación de una supuesta vivienda en 2008. Junto a él, otros tres acusados que también han sido condenados. La sentencia no es firme y la defensa del alcalde ha asegurado que recurrirá ya que considera que su defendido habría prevaricado si no hubiera otorgado esa licencia ya que había informes favorables del arquitecto municipal y del secretario. Además, le ha recomendado que no dimita, al mostrar su convencimiento de que el recurso prosperará.
