La noche de este pasado lunes se producía un suceso que alertaba a los vecinos del paseo marítimo de Rincón de la Victoria. Los hechos tuvieron lugar a las 21.30 de la noche cuando la Guardia Civil recibió un aviso alertando de que un hombre intentaba entrar en el domicilio de su ex pareja con la que tenía antecedentes por violencia de género. Cuando los agentes llegaron al lugar no encontraron al hombre, que había huido, así que lo buscaron en las inmediaciones. Tras varios minutos lo localizaron en el paseo marítimo en una actitud agresiva y llevando encima dos armas blancas. En un momento dado, el individuo amenazó a los agentes con agredirles e incluso se abalanzó sobre ellos. Los agentes tuvieron que utilizar su arma reglamentaria para disuadir al hombre, que recibió tres disparos en la pierna. Después, el individuo se autolesionó con los cuchillos que llevaba provocándose heridas en el abdomen y el cuello. Los agentes avisaron a los servicios sanitarios que tuvieron que llevárselo hasta el Hospital Regional de Málaga en estado grave. El agresor tiene 56 años y según hemos podido conocer, tenía antecedentes policiales por violencia de género y, de hecho, constaba sobre él una orden de búsqueda y detención por delitos de resistencia y desobediencia.

Last Monday night there was an event that alerted the residents of the Rincón de la Victoria promenade. Later, the individual injured himself with the knives he was carrying, causing injuries to his abdomen and neck. The agents notified the health services that they had to take him to the Regional Hospital of Malaga in serious condition. The aggressor is 56 years old and, as we have learned, he had a police record for gender-based violence and, in fact, there was a search and arrest warrant for crimes of resistance and disobedience.
