El PSOE de Casares ha iniciado una campaña en redes sociales para apoyar a la hostelería del municipio e incentivar el consumo en los establecimientos de los tres núcleos del municipio: Casares, Secadero y Casares Costa. Durante los próximos meses los concejales y miembros de la dirección local del PSOE visitarán bares, restaurantes y cafeterías de la localidad para divulgar imágenes de éstos en las redes sociales. Además de esta muestra de apoyo a este sector, los concejales socialistas han anunciado que presentarán numerosas iniciativas en el Ayuntamiento para que el equipo de gobierno adopte medidas de promoción a este colectivo. El secretario general del PSOE de Casares, Carlos Cañavate señala que los socialistas no entienden el futuro del municipio sin el papel relevante que ocupan los empresarios y comerciantes locales.
