El agua de Humilladero ha sido declarada no apta para consumo humano debido al incumplimiento de los parámetros de cloruros y nitratos en la red pública. Ante esta situación el Consistorio anunció a los vecinos que el agua no puede utilizarse para beber ni para preparar alimentos. Eso sà no se prevé que haya cortes de suministro y es que esta agua si podrá ser utilizada para realizar labores de limpieza o menaje doméstico. Mientras se mantiene esta situación desde el Consistorio se mantendrá activo un reparto de agua potable gratuito en diferentes puntos del municipio mediante camiones cisterna. En un primer momento desde el Ayuntamiento se informa que este servicio de abastecimiento de agua se realizará los lunes y jueves de cada semana mientras se mantenga la imposibilidad de consumir el agua que está llegando mediante la red pública a los hogares del municipio.
