🔴Noticia – 2022: un año difícil pero positivo para los hoteles de la Costa del Sol

Los hoteleros de la Costa del Sol hacen balance de la temporada turística en 2022 y valoran como positivo los datos recogidos a lo largo de ese año. Un año en el que los hoteles adheridos a la Asociación de Empresarios Hoteleros de la Costa del Sol (Aehcos) han tenido una ocupación del 70,75%. A través de un comunicado, el comité ejecutivo de la patronal ha detallado que 2022 empezó con datos preocupantes ya que el primer trimestre cerró con datos de ocupación un 15% inferiores a los de 2019. En cambio, el segundo trimestre mantuvo un comportamiento propio de esa época del año y con cifras cercanas a las de 2019. El repunte comenzó en la época fuerte del sector en Málaga: el verano. En julio los datos de ocupación hotelera superaron por primera vez las cifras obtenidas ese mes en 2019. De hecho, los tres meses de temporada alta, julio, agosto y septiembre, cerraron con más de un 85% de ocupación. El último trimestre, en cambio, ha tenido un comportamiento desigual. Empezó muy fuerte con un octubre que dejó un 80% de hoteles ocupados pero que se ha desinflado en diciembre, con un 52%. La patronal explica que ha sido un año difícil porque a pesar de que parecía que dejábamos atrás la pandemia, la guerra de Ucrania ha traído una crisis con una subida de precios que han sacudido al sector.
