🔴Noticia – La Cabalgata de Málaga cumple 100 años

La Cabalgata de Reyes de Málaga ha sido este año más especial que nunca. Y es que en este 2023, cumplía 100 años, y como no podía ser de otra forma, sus Majestades de Oriente han soplado las velas de la tarta antes de iniciar el cortejo. Como cada año, un niño leyó una carta desde el balcón del Ayuntamiento. En esta ocasión, fue el turno de Olga, una niña de 9 años, alumna del colegio Clara Campoamor, que en su carta pedía paz en el mundo, que los padres pasen más tiempo con sus hijos para jugar y que Málaga sea elegida para albergar la Expo 2027. Ya ven que ni la política escapa en un día tan especial como este. Finalizado este acto, arrancó el desfile compuesto por 16 carrozas, ocho pasacalles y varias agrupaciones musicales. Se han repartido más de 20.000 kilos de caramelos a lo largo del desfile que estaba previsto que acabara en torno a las 21.00 horas pero que se prolongó varios minutos más. La cabalgata ha discurrido este año por avenidas amplias, recorriendo el Paseo del Parque y la Alameda Principal cruzando el puente de Tetuán para después hacer el mismo recorrido a la inversa hasta la Plaza de la Marina. Allí, los Reyes Magos se han bajado de sus carrozas y han recorrido a pie la calle Molina de Lario hasta la escalinata de la Catedral, en la Plaza del Obispo donde han cumplido con la tradición de entregar oro, incienso y mirra al niño Jesús, en un belén viviente recreado en la fachada principal del templo malagueño.

This year the procession has run through wide avenues, going through the Paseo del Parque and the Alameda Principal, crossing the Tetuán bridge and then doing the same route in reverse to the Plaza de la Marina. There, the Three Wise Men got out of their carriages and walked down Molina de Lario street to the steps of the Cathedral, in the Plaza del Obispo where they have complied with the tradition of delivering gold, incense and myrrh to the baby Jesus, in a living nativity scene recreated on the main façade of the Malaga temple.
