España registra otra vez más muertes que nacimientos en 2016 y la edad para ser madre sube a 32 años
La población española registra de nuevo un saldo vegetativo negativo, con 256 defunciones más que nacimientos en 2016 y la edad para ser madre asciende a los 32 años.
Tanto la natalidad como la mortalidad han bajado un 2,8% y un 3,2%, respectivamente, comparado con el año anterior, según los datos provisionales del ‘Movimiento Natural de la Población’ del Instituto Nacional de Estadística.
En 2016 en España nacieron más de 408.000 niños, es decir, 11.906 menos que el año anterior, la cifra más baja desde 2008, cuando se contaron más de 519.000 nacimientos, consolidándose así la tendencia a la baja iniciada ese año en el que se alcanzó el máximo en 30 años.
Durante 2016 fallecieron en España unas 409.000 personas, lo que supuso un 3,2% menos que en el año anterior y 8,8 defunciones por mil habitantes, frente a 9,1 de 2015.
La estadística del INE indica también que unas 172.200 parejas contrajeron matrimonio en 2016, un 2% más que en el año anterior.
