El Málaga Club de Fútbol y las autoridades políticas de la ciudad han escenificado este jueves el comienzo de las obras de la nueva Ciudad Deportiva blanquiazul.Una primera fase de tres previstas, que empieza la semana que viene y finalizará a principios de año.
Con la presencia de los hijos del propietario, Nayef Al-Thani y Hamyan Al-Thani, consejero y CEO de La Academia del Málaga CF respectivamente, se ha dado el pistoletazo de salida para que se lleve a cabo un proyecto cuya primera fase pretende aglutinar al grueso de la cantera malaguista, con la construcción de tres campos, uno de césped natural y dos artificial, un edificio de oficinas y un párking para 300 vehículos.
En principio, el traslado del primer equipo a Arraijanal está previsto para la segunda fase de las obras, que aún no tienen plan de ejecución.
El alcalde, Francisco de la Torre; el presidente de la Diputación, Elías Bendodo; el delegado de la Junta en Málaga, José Luis Ruiz Espejo y demás representantes de la clase política junto a directivos del club han estado presentes en un acto en el que los Al-Thani y los miembros de las tres instituciones han firmado una camiseta conmemorativa que se ha enterrado en un pilar de la nueva construcción.
