El Ayuntamiento de Málaga, a través del Instituto Municipal de la Vivienda, ha decidido aumentar el coste de las ayudas que ofrece a las familias sin recursos para el pago del alquiler de una vivienda, que pasarán de los 450 euros actuales a los 550 euros para el primer año.
El Instituto Municipal de la Vivienda sube a 550 euros mensuales el importe de las ayudas al alquiler.
La medida, que ha tenido el respaldo de la comisión de Economía se toma al constatar tanto en el IMV como el área de Derechos Sociales que el incremento de las rentas de alquiler que se viene produciendo en los últimos meses, impide a un importante número de familias con escasos recursos hacer frente al alquiler de una vivienda.
El IMV tiene en su censo a 780 familias en búsqueda de una vivienda.
Las familias beneficiarias recibirán la ayuda durante tres años. Durante el primer semestre la ayuda alcanzará los 550 euros y en el segundo semestre bajará a 495 euros. Durante los dos años siguientes las ayudas irán bajando un 10% por semestre, siendo de 275 euros en el último semestre.
La ayuda máxima por familia será de 14.840 euros, al cabo de los tres años de vigencia del plan de ayuda.
