El presidente venezolano, Nicolás Maduro, ha afirmado este lunes que «no va a entrar ningún soldado invasor» en su país y ha rechazado el comunicado del Grupo de Lima, integrado hasta este lunes por once países americanos, por el que ha aceptado a Venezuela como miembro del grupo y ha rechazado cualquier iniciativa de diálogo internacional. El mandatario ha denunciado la «agresión tan grande» que está sufriendo el pueblo venezolano por parte de Estados Unidos.

«Un fuerte proceso de agresiones continuas y amenazas», ha dicho Maduro, que ha reiterado que Estados Unidos quiere «su petróleo y sus riquezas naturales». El mandatario ha manifestado a través de su cuenta en la red social Twitter que en Venezuela «no habrá intervención» y que «solo habrá paz con justicia social».
