El presidente de Irán, Hasán Rohani, ha asegurado que las sanciones de Estados Unidos contra la República Islámica son «crímenes contra la Humanidad» y ha anunciado que denunciará a las autoridades estadounidenses por las sanciones contra el régimen de los ayatolás. Rohani ha dicho que esas medidas han afectado al valor del rial iraní y han hecho aumentar la inflación aunque ha recalcado que el Gobierno iraní superará las dificultades.
