🔴Noticia – PSOE y Ciudadanos cuestionan la llegada del Hermitage a Málaga

Ante los rumores sobre la posible implantación en Málaga del museo Hermitage, el grupo municipal socialista propone la creación de un Plan Director de museos para evaluar los que ya hay en la ciudad antes de traer la franquicia de esta pinacoteca cuya sede principal se encuentra en San Petersburgo, en Rusia. Hay otras ciudades españolas que también se postulan a albergar este museo como son Madrid, Sevilla o Valencia, por lo que los promotores aún no tienen nada decidido. Aún así, desde el PSOE, ya se muestran en contra de su llegada debido al enorme coste que tendría tanto la construcción del edificio, cercano a los 30 millones de euros, como el mantenimiento anual del mismo, en torno a los 5 millones. El portavoz socialista, Daniel Pérez, ha subrayado que los malagueños no pueden permitirse más fondos públicos en museos franquicias, por lo que ha propuesto que antes de traer más sucursales de este tipo a Málaga, se conozca primero el grado de retorno que supone para la ciudad el dinero invertido, que en la actualidad se cifra en 15,6 millones de euros. En una línea similar también se mostraba la portavoz de Ciudadanos en el ayuntamiento, que además forma parte del equipo de gobierno municipal, Noelia Losada. Losada que, curiosamente, es quien lidera el área de Cultura, dice que aunque sería bueno traer el Hermitage a Málaga, cree que ahora no es el momento.
