🔴Noticia – Málaga será sede del mundial de rugby este fin de semana

Este lunes se ha presentado en el Ayuntamiento de Málaga las HSBC Spain Sevens Series. Se trata del campeonato mundial de rugby que este fin de semana se celebrará en el Estadio Ciudad de Málaga. Del viernes 21 al domingo 23 de enero se darán cita selecciones internacionales tanto masculinas como femeninas de todo el mundo. Es, además, la primera vez que España es sede de este torneo. En el cuadro masculino participarán Argentina, que fue medalla de bronce en los Juegos Olímpicos de Tokio) o Fiji, vigentes campeones en estas olimpiadas. También estarán Canadá, Francia, Estados Unidos y la propia selección española, entre otras. En el cuadro femenino participarán Australia, irlanda, Rusia, Estados Unidos o Francia, subcampeona olímpica en Tokio, así como la selección española. Al acto de presentación han asistido los capitanes de las selecciones masculina y femenina de rugby así como el alcalde de Málaga, Francisco de la Torre y la concejala de deportes, Noelia Losada, entre otros. La siguiente cita de este torneo se disputará el siguiente fin de semana en Sevilla.
