Este miércoles ha tenido lugar el acto de entrega de los Premios Meridiana que, organizados por el Instituto Andaluz de la Mujer, tienen como finalidad otorgar reconocimiento público a entidades y personas que hayan contribuido a la defensa de la igualdad entre mujeres y hombres. El presidente de la Junta, Juanma Moreno, ha agradecido a las premiadas su labor y ha reclamado la necesidad de crear una sociedad en igualdad. Por otro lado, Moreno ha señalado que todas las instituciones tienen una responsabilidad en relación con la igualdad y ha pedido al resto de administraciones que asuman la suya en el marco de sus competencias. Para finalizar, el presidente de la Junta ha señalado que para liderar el desarrollo, es necesario contar con «el 52% del talento de nuestra sociedad».
