🔴Noticia – Alozaina solicita fondos europeos para ser un pueblo más sostenible

Alozaina aspira a conseguir 6 millones de euros de fondos europeos destinados a iniciativas encaminadas a impulsar un consumo energético más sostenible. En concreto, el Ayuntamiento ha presentado dos solicitudes para el Programa DUS 5000 que contempla ayudas para poblaciones de menos de 5.000 habitantes. La primera de las solicitudes cuenta con un presupuesto de casi 3 millones de euros y comprende actuaciones en la Casa de la Cultura, el Pabellón Polideportivo y el CEIP Arquitecto Sánchez Sepúlveda. La idea es conseguir esa financiación para realizar una serie de mejoras en estas instalaciones como: el aislamiento térmico en la cubierta exterior, sustitución del sistema de calefacción o sustitución de las ventanas por otras protejan mejor del frío y también del calor además del cambio de luminarias por otras tipo LED que reducen el consumo. Este primer proyecto también incluye la puesta en funcionamiento de un campo solar. La segunda solicitud, también con un presupuesto de casi 3 millones de euros, abarca actuaciones para fomentar la movilidad sostenible con la construcción de un aparcamiento en superficie, la instalación de cargadores para vehículos eléctricos así como restricciones de tráfico en determinadas calles del municipio. El alcalde, Antonio Pérez, asegura que si se consiguen estas ayudas serían muy importantes para Alozaina porque supondría adaptar la localidad al desarrollo urbano sostenible sin coste alguno para el ayuntamiento.
