🔴Noticia – Detenida en Estepona una pareja de ladrones de carteras

La Policía Nacional ha detenido en Estepona a una pareja, un hombre de 60 años y una mujer de 55, por presuntamente cometer un delito de hurto y estafa. Los arrestados, de nacionalidad rumana, fueron pillados in fraganti en un centro comercial de Marbella tras el robo de la cartera de una turista. No era la primera vez que actuaban. Los agentes iniciaron en marzo una investigación tras la denuncia de una mujer del robo de su cartera en la Comisaría Local de Estepona. Tras la detención, los agentes llevaron a cabo un registro domiciliario donde se comprobó que, en alguna ocasión, las tarjetas que se encontraban en las carteras robadas habrían sido utilizadas por los detenidos para retirar efectivo en cajeros, e ingresarlo en sus propias cuentas. Los detenidos ya han pasado a disposición del Juzgado de Instrucción número 5 de Estepona.

The National Police have arrested a couple in Estepona, a 60-year-old man and a 55-year-old woman, for allegedly committing a crime of theft and fraud. Those arrested, of Romanian nationality, were caught red-handed in a shopping center in Marbella after the theft of a tourist’s wallet. It was not the first time they acted. The agents began an investigation in March after a woman reported the theft of her wallet at the Estepona Local Police Station. After the arrest, the agents carried out a house search where it was found that, on some occasion, the cards found in the stolen wallets had been used by the detainees to withdraw cash at ATMs, and deposit it into their own accounts. The detainees have already been transferred to the Investigating Court number 5 of Estepona.
