Málaga ha encendido la Navidad. La calle Larios se ha convertido un año más en epicentro del alumbrado navideño que el Ayuntamiento ha instalado por buena parte de la ciudad pero que es más espectacular en el centro. La cantante malagueña, Vanesa Martín, ha sido la encargada de pulsar el botón. A las 19.00 horas de la tarde de este sábado comenzaba el espectáculo de luces acompañado de música ante la mirada atónita de miles de malagueños y visitantes que se han congregado en una de la principal arteria comercial de la ciudad así como en la plaza de la Constitución. Este año, el alumbrado lo componen 16 ángeles en 32 columnas laterales con 32 estelas o ráfagas y han sido instalados por la empresa iluminaciones Ximénez. Este año la duración del espectáculo se reduce dos horas para ‘concienciar’ sobre el ahorro en el consumo energético, según el Ayuntamiento. El alumbrado será entre las 18.30 y las 24 horas los días laborables mientras que los fines de semana y vísperas de festivo se ampliará hasta las 2 horas. En cuanto a los espectáculos de luz y sonido, habrá tres pases cada día: a las 19.00, 20.30 y 22.00 horas, salvo el 24 y el 31 de diciembre.
