La Junta de Andalucía autoriza el proyecto de la pasarela peatonal en el Tajo de Ronda. Este viernes se ha reunido la Comisión Provincial de Patrimonio Histórico, que depende de la Delegación Territorial de Turismo, Cultura y Deporte. Tras estudiar los informes pertinentes, esta comisión de expertos ve compatible el proyecto con los bienes patrimoniales del entorno. En un comunicado emitido por el gobierno andaluz, las dimensiones del proyecto son reducidas en relación con la gran escala de la garganta del Tajo de Ronda y los materiales a emplear se integran sin estridencias en el entorno. El informe resalta que la instalación de la pasarela permitirá contemplar los bienes protegidos de Ronda desde una perspectiva hasta ahora inédita. El proyecto contempla la construcción de una pasarela peatonal de 1,20 metros de anchura a tres metros sobre el cauce del río Guadalevín, en el tramo comprendido entre el Puente Nuevo y el Puente Viejo.

The Junta de Andalucía authorizes the project for the pedestrian walkway in the Tajo de Ronda. This Friday the Provincial Historical Heritage Commission met, which depends on the Territorial Delegation of Tourism, Culture and Sport. After studying the pertinent reports, this committee of experts sees the project as compatible with the surrounding heritage assets. In a statement issued by the Andalusian government, the dimensions of the project are reduced in relation to the large scale of the Tajo de Ronda gorge and the materials to be used are integrated without stridency in the environment. The report highlights that the installation of the footbridge will allow us to contemplate Ronda’s protected assets from a hitherto unprecedented perspective. The project includes the construction of a 1.20-meter-wide pedestrian walkway three meters above the Guadalevín riverbed, in the section between the Puente Nuevo and the Puente Viejo.
