🔴Noticia – La Diputación planta 41.000 árboles en el pantano de La Viñuela

La Diputación de Málaga concluye los trabajos de reforestación del entorno del pantano de La Viñuela. En total se han plantado 41.000 árboles y arbustos. Esta actuación es la primera del gran proyecto medioambiental, turístico y de ocio diseñado por la institución provincial y que cuenta con un presupuesto de 4,5 millones de euros. El presidente de la Diputación, Francisco Salado, ha visitado este lunes la zona donde se han realizado las plantaciones junto a los alcaldes de La Viñuela y de Periana. Salado ha explicado que la reforestación se ha realizado con criterios ecológicos y paisajísticos, especialmente en zonas degradadas y con menor cobertura vegetal. En total se ha actuado sobre una superficie de 52 hectáreas. Las especies arbóreas que se han plantado son el pino carrasco, algarrobo, encina y enebro, y en cuanto a los arbustos, especies como el granado, retama, esparto y lentisco. El presidente de la Diputación ha recordado que en un futuro se realizarán más actuaciones en esta zona como la creación de una gran senda circular de 24 kilómetros, dotada con carril bici y pasarelas de madera que está pendiente de la autorización por parte de la Junta de Andalucía.

The tree species that have been planted are Aleppo pine, carob, holm oak and juniper, and in terms of shrubs, species such as pomegranate, broom, esparto grass and mastic. The president of the Provincial Council recalled that in the future more actions will be carried out in this area, such as the creation of a large 24-kilometre circular path, equipped with a bike lane and wooden walkways that is pending authorization by the Board of Andalusia.
