Jornadas de repoblaciones participativas

Español:Vuelven las repoblaciones forestales participativas a Mijas este domingo.

La Concejalía de Medio Ambiente del Ayuntamiento mijeño ha organizado ocho jornadas de repoblaciones con voluntarios y amantes del entorno natural para recuperar uno de los parajes más dañados por los incendios de los últimos años, el de la Fuente de la Teja, en Entrerríos.

Los responsables del área esperan superar el número de participantes del año pasado, que fue de 460, y llegar hasta los 500 voluntarios, que suelen venir de colectivos vecinales, colegios, institutos u otras organizaciones sociales.

Igualmente, esperan aumentar el número de árboles y plantas autóctonas, como el algarrobo o el lentisco, sembradas hasta los 3.000, ya que el pasado año se plantaron unas 2.400 especies.

Como decimos, la primera de estas jornadas se celebra este domingo 22 y en ella participan la Asociación Ecologista ADENA, la Asociación Planeta BIO de Estepona y otros voluntarios.

Las siguientes jornadas de repoblación serán el sábado 28 y el domingo 29 de noviembre, el 11, 12 y 13 de diciembre así como los días 16 y 17 de enero.

Según palabras del concejal de Medio Ambiente, Ángel Nozal, “los mijeños pueden hacer algo por ayudar a conservar el entorno natural gracias a estas repoblaciones ya que son una oportunidad muy especial para poner un granito de arena y recuperar la sierra.
Nozal ha invitado a todos a que se sumen a estas reforestaciones participativas.
