El PP vota en contra de agilizar la apertura de la cárcel de Archidona

Español: El equipo de gobierno del PP en la Diputación de Málaga ha votado este martes en contra de instar al Gobierno de España a agilizar la apertura de la cárcel de Archidona.

Según ha explicado el diputado del grupo socialista en la institución provincial Cristóbal Fernández, el PSOE ha presentado en la Comisión Informativa Especial de Cuentas y Desarrollo Económico y Productivo una moción relativa al centro penitenciario Málaga II construido en Archidona.

En la iniciativa los socialistas piden que la Diputación inste al Gobierno de España a llevar a cabo cuanto antes la oferta de empleo público que permita contratar los funcionarios necesarios para poner en funcionamiento el centro penitenciario.

Asimismo, solicitan que el ente supramunicipal inste al Gobierno a llevar a cabo cuanto antes la licitación y adjudicación de la totalidad del equipamiento necesario que permita la apertura del centro.

Y por último, que se inste al Gobierno a la apertura de la cárcel antes de la finalización de 2016, tal y como se comprometió el secretario general de Instituciones Penitenciarias en su visita a la provincia el pasado mes de octubre.
Fernández ha criticado que la iniciativa del PSOE haya sido rechazada con los votos en contra del PP y Málaga Ahora y la abstención de Ciudadanos e IU.
