PSOE Málaga no renuncia al gran parque público en los terrenos de Repsol

La portavoz del Grupo Municipal Socialista en el Ayuntamiento de Málaga, María Gámez, se ha reafirmado este miércoles en la apuesta del PSOE por un gran parque urbano en los terrenos de Repsol y ha asegurado que la ciudad está “ante su última oportunidad para que pueda tener un gran parque y así dar la espalda al modelo especulativo de antaño”, en relación a la apuesta del gobierno municipal del PP de construir en este espacio varias torres y reducir el tamaño de la zona verde “a un simple jardín”, según la portavoz.

De esta forma, desde el PSOE han destacado que la mejora de la calidad de vida de los malagueños pasa necesariamente por la construcción de este parque urbano “en la totalidad de los antiguos terrenos de Repsol”.

Gámez ha recordado también que la apuesta por este gran espacio verde de 177.000 metros cuadrados viene siendo reivindicada por los socialistas desde el año 1999 y ha mostrado su satisfacción ante la suma no solo de los apoyos de Málaga Ahora y Málaga para la Gente-IU, sino de plataformas vecinales que respaldan que se le dé uso exclusivo de parque urbano a todo éste área.
