Málaga 24h TV – El CHARE del Guadalhorce recibe a sus primeros pacientes

Parecía que no llegaría nunca, pero por fin los más de 100.000 habitantes de los 13 municipios de la comarca del Guadalhorce tienen ya su hospital: el centro hospitalario Valle del Guadalhorce ha atendido este martes a sus primeros pacientes en las 8 consultas externas que han abierto: Medicina Interna, Obstetricia y ginecología, Radiodiagnóstico, Digestivo, Rehabilitación, Fisioterapia, Cardiología y Dermatología.

No será hasta octubre cuando entre en funcionamiento el área de Urgencias, laboratorio y farmacia, mientras que el inicio de las áreas quirúrgicas y de hospitalización se prevé para 2017.

El alcalde de Cártama, Jorge Gallardo, ha visitado las instalaciones junto al delegado del gobierno andaluz en Málaga, José Luis Ruiz Espejo, y el gerente de los hospitales Carlos Haya y Clínico Universitario, y han podido comprobar in situ que estas primeras consultas se han desarrollado con normalidad.

El edificio cuenta con una superficie de 19.400 metros cuadrados y ha supuesto una inversión de unos 30,6 millones de euros, incluida la construcción y el equipamiento, para el que se han usado las últimas tecnologías.
