Málaga 24h TV – «España ni fue a la guerra ni ocultó información», según el exministro Trillo

El exministro de Defensa en la época de José María Aznar y actual embajador en Reino Unido, Federico Trillo, ha insistido este jueves en que «España no estuvo en guerra y que sólo se envió ayuda, sin pegar un sólo tiro».

Así lo ha dicho en una entrevista en Onda Cero tras ser preguntado por el informe Chilcot sobre las mentiras para iniciar la guerra de Irak.

Durante la entrevista, Trillo ha comentado que el apoyo a la guerra fue político, sin dar en ningún momento «la espalda al Parlamento», al tiempo que ha negado que el Ejecutivo de Aznar manipulara u ocultara información sobre la presencia de armas de destrucción masiva en Irak.

This was said in an interview on Onda Cero after being asked by the Chilcot report on the lies to start the war in Iraq.
