Málaga 24h TV – Díaz subraya la «enorme responsabilidad» para proteger los recursos naturales

La presidenta de la Junta de Andalucía, Susana Díaz, ha participado este lunes en la inauguración del Noveno Congreso de Geología de España, que acoge la Universidad de Huelva hasta el miércoles.

En el acto, Díaz ha subrayado la importancia de la Estrategia Andaluza de Gestión Integrada de la Geodiversidad, que ha conseguido, desde que el Gobierno andaluz la pusiera en marcha hace seis años, destacar cómo se pueden gestionar de manera sostenible los recursos naturales y cuyos objetivos «ya han visto la luz» en un 80 por ciento.

Durante su intervención, Díaz ha defendido «el gran caudal geológico» que tiene Andalucía y Huelva, lo que supone «una gran responsabilidad» para el Gobierno andaluz, que «tiene que poner cuanto recurso tenga a su alcance para que se proteja», a lo que ha añadido que la elección de esta provincia para celebrar este congreso «lo pone de manifiesto».

En cuanto a la citada estrategia, ha subrayado que también ha conseguido la promoción, a través del geoturismo y ofrecer información y conocimiento a través de programas educativos.
