El secretario general del grupo socialista en el Congreso, Miguel Ángel Heredia, ha asegurado que octubre «no ha sido un buen mes» en cuanto al empleo, pero ha indicado que hay datos que presentan «una tendencia positiva», por lo que ha abogado por «mantener e intensificar» los esfuerzos por parte de todas las administraciones, reclamando, de nuevo, al Gobierno central un plan de empleo para Andalucía.

En rueda de prensa en Vélez-Málaga, el líder socialista ha señalado que ante los datos de octubre «no podemos estar satisfechos, porque el dato es negativo y se debe al efecto rebote del final del verano que se focaliza en los servicios», incidiendo en que no ha sido un buen mes «por mucho que la subida sea previsible previa al cierre del año, cuando se registrarán las contrataciones ligadas a las temporada navideña».

Heredia también ha indicado que un dato desde el punto de vista positivo es que la subida «es un 27 por ciento inferior a la del pasado año», por lo que ha señalado que «pese a este repunte mensual, la cifra de parados que es de 918.547 personas aún puede descender de los 900.000 parados en los próximos dos meses, tal y como se ha marcado como objetivo el Gobierno andaluz».
