Málaga 24h TV – May confirma a Juncker y a Merkel que mantiene el calendario para el ‘Brexit’

La primera ministra británica, Theresa May, ha confirmado al presidente de la Comisión Europea, Jean-Claude Juncker, y a la canciller alemana, Angela Merkel, que mantiene el calendario previsto para el ‘Brexit’, la salida del Reino Unido de la Unión Europea (UE).

A través de una conversación telefónica, May ha confirmado a ambos dirigentes que no variará su postura pese a la decisión del Tribunal Superior de Londres, que obliga al Gobierno a recibir la autorización del Parlamento antes de invocar el Artículo 50 del Tratado de Lisboa, que iniciaría el proceso.

Un portavoz de Downing Street ha indicado que May ha mostrado su «decepción» por este dictamen y ha reiterado que el Ejecutivo británico lo recurrirá ante el Tribunal Supremo, que deberá pronunciarse antes de final de año.
