Málaga 24h TV – Conejo apuesta en México por reinventar la socialdemocracia

El secretario de Política Institucional del PSOE de Andalucía y portavoz del PSOE en la Diputación Provincial de Málaga, Francisco Conejo, ha analizado la situación por la que atraviesa la socialdemocracia en Europa y, especialmente, en España, desde la irrupción de la crisis económica y financiera en 2007, y ha avanzado los retos del PSOE para los próximos años.
Durante la conferencia titulada “Crisis de gobierno en España y retos del PSOE: La socialdemocracia ante la crisis” que se ha ofrecido en el marco de la ‘Conferencia Internacional sobre Movimientos Progresistas y Ciudadanos en América Latina y Europa’ organizada en México DF, Conejo ha participado como ponente y ha asegurado que hay que contribuir a reinventar la socialdemocracia para ganar el futuro.
Entre los retos del PSOE para los próximos años, ha señalado ser un partido de mayorías, “un partido ganador, como lo fueron con Felipe González y Zapatero”; ganar credibilidad, generando confianza con un partido unido, un nuevo proyecto y liderazgo que responda a las nuevas demandas de la sociedad española; ofrecer un proyecto de país viable y que genere oportunidades, generando seguridad y certidumbre sobre presente y futuro, sobre empleo, pensiones, Estado de Bienestar y el futuro de los jóvenes.
Conejo ha explicado que la socialdemocracia se encuentra “desdibujada” y asegura que lo sucedido con el PSOE en España “no es algo aislado, puesto que la socialdemocracia europea está en crisis”.
Pese a todo, Conejo se ha declarado “optimista” y confía en que la socialdemocracia ofrezca un modelo económico viable que garantice un Estado del Bienestar sostenible.

Among the challenges of the PSOE for the coming years, has indicated to be a party of majorities, «a winning party, as they were with Felipe González and Zapatero»; Gain credibility, generating trust with a united party, a new project and leadership that responds to the new demands of Spanish society; Offer a viable country project that generates opportunities, generating security and certainty about present and future, on employment, pensions, Welfare State and the future of young people.
Rabbit has explained that Social Democracy is «blurred» and ensures that what happened to the PSOE in Spain «is not isolated, since European Social Democracy is in crisis.»
Nonetheless, Conejo has declared himself to be «optimistic» and is confident that Social Democracy will provide a viable economic model that guarantees a sustainable welfare state.
