Afines a Sánchez le piden que tome ya una decisión sobre su candidatura – Málaga 24h TV

Socialistas afines al ex secretario general del PSOE Pedro Sánchez le están pidiendo que tome ya una decisión sobre su futuro y aclare cuanto antes si se va a presentar o no al 39 Congreso Federal del partido.

Dirigentes próximos al exlíder han asegurado a Europa Press que Sánchez todavía no tiene claro si dará un paso al frente para concurrir a las primarias, pero defienden que debería despejar la duda porque ellos y los militantes que le apoyan tienen que saber a qué atenerse.

Según estas fuentes, Sánchez continúa atesorando el apoyo de un sector de la militancia y de cuadros medios del partido que se mantienen fieles, mientras algunos otros dirigentes de más peso orgánico se han despegado ya de su figura.

Por eso, sostienen, debe dar un paso y explicar cuanto antes cuáles son sus planes, ya que es la única manera de que quienes siguen siendo fieles puedan mantener su postura de cara a los militantes que seguirían estando dispuestos a ayudarle.

Sin embargo, según las fuentes consultadas, Sánchez no ha recibido bien este mensaje. El ex secretario general no ha vuelto a aparecer en público desde el pasado 10 de diciembre, cuando protagonizó su segundo encuentro con militantes desde que dejara su escaño en el Congreso de los Diputados.

Al marcharse explicó que dejaba de ser diputado pero volvía a empezar como «un militante más» y aseguró que para ello recorrería «todos los rincones de España» para escuchar a los socialistas. Pero casi dos meses después, sólo ha tenido dos actos, ninguna entrevista –después de su polémica aparición en ‘Salvados’– y no ha dado señales de sus intenciones.

Leaders close to the exlíder have assured Europa Press that Sanchez is still not clear if he will take a step forward to attend the primaries, but defend that he should clear the doubt because they and the militants who support him have to know what to expect.

According to these sources, Sánchez continues to treasure the support of a sector of militancy and of party middle cadres who remain faithful, while some other leaders of more organic weight have already taken off their figure.

That is why, they say, it must take a step and explain as soon as possible what its plans are, since it is the only way that those who remain faithful can maintain their position towards the militants who would still be willing to help.

However, according to the sources consulted, Sánchez has not received this message well. The former secretary general has not appeared in public since last December 10, when he staged his second meeting with militants since leaving his seat in the Congress of Deputies.

On leaving, he explained that he was no longer a deputy, but he began again as «one more militant» and assured that he would go «all the corners of Spain» to listen to the socialists. But almost two months later, he has only had two acts, no interview – after his controversial appearance in ‘Salvados’ – and has not given any indication of his intentions.
