El Gobierno tumba una ley del PSOE para suprimir tasas judiciales – Málaga 24h TV

El Gobierno ha vetado la tramitación de una proposición de ley del PSOE para suprimir tasas judiciales alegando que su aprobación haría perder al Estado 15 millones de euros al año. La Mesa del Congreso, con los votos de PP y Ciudadanos, ha aceptado el veto, el decimoséptimo que presenta el Ejecutivo en lo que va de legislatura, y la iniciativa no llegará a debatirse.

La propuesta del PSOE pretendía eximir del pago de tasas judiciales a las entidades sin fines lucrativos, salvo en supuestos excepcionales, por entender que mantener esos pagos «supone un debilitamiento del mecanismo para hacer valer derechos constitucionales y estatutarios», ya que el papel de estas entidades es «vital».

En su escrito de veto, al que tuvo acceso Europa Press, el Gobierno replica que ampliar las exenciones del pago de tasas provocaría «una minoración en la recaudación» de la tercera parte del total anual. Concretamente, habla de una pérdida aproximada de 15 millones de euros anuales, respecto de los 45 millones que supone la recaudación total.

El Ejecutivo añade que la recaudación por tasas judiciales forma parte del Presupuesto de Ingresos del Estado y que, al reducirse, conllevaría «un desequilibrio entre gastos e ingresos, con efecto directo sobre el déficit público».

The proposal of the PSOE was intended to exempt from the payment of legal fees to non-profit entities, except in exceptional cases, to understand that maintaining these payments «supposes a weakening of the mechanism to enforce constitutional and statutory rights», since the role of these Entities is «vital.»

In its veto, which Europa Press had access to, the Government replies that extending exemptions from the payment of fees would cause «a reduction in the collection» of one-third of the annual total. Specifically, it speaks of an approximate loss of 15 million euros per year, compared to 45 million that involves the total collection.

The Executive adds that the collection of court fees is part of the State Revenue Budget and that, when reduced, would entail «an imbalance between expenses and revenues, with a direct effect on the public deficit.»
