El PSOE está dispuesto a acordar con el PP la renovación del TC, “por responsabilidad”- Málaga 24h

El portavoz de la Gestora del PSOE, Mario Jiménez, ha asegurado que su partido quiere buscar un acuerdo con el PP para elegir a los cuatro magistrados del Tribunal Constitucional que tiene que renovar el Senado y no bloquear el proceso, «por responsabilidad».
«No somos el PP, que cuando no le interesa una coyuntura concreta bloquea la renovación de un órgano tan importante como es el Tribunal Constitucional», ha afirmado Jiménez en una entrevista concedida a Europa Press, en la que ha apostado por un acuerdo que garantice los tres quintos necesarios en el Pleno del Senado para aprobar los nombramientos.
La Cámara Alta ha empezado la renovación de los cuatro magistrados que constitucionalmente le toca elegir, entre ellos, el presidente del Tribunal, Francisco de los Cobos, y la vicepresidenta, Adela Asúa, y otros dos magistrados fallecidos: Francisco José Hernando y Luis Ignacio Ortega.
Pueden participan en el proceso los parlamentos autonómicos, que tienen la posibilidad de enviar propuestas hasta el próximo 13 de enero, aunque el Senado examinará después a los candidatos y elegirá a quien quiera.
