PSOE exige mejoras en la barriada Las Cuevas – Málaga 24h TV

La portavoz del Grupo Municipal Socialista en el Ayuntamiento de Málaga, María del Carmen Moreno, y la viceportavoz socialista en el consistorio, Estefanía Martín Palop, han anunciado una iniciativa con la que el PSOE exige al equipo de gobierno del PP reservar una partida en el presupuesto municipal del presente año para poner en marcha las acciones e inversiones que permitan desarrollar un plan integral de mejoras en la barriada de Las Cuevas, en El Palo, que han visitado junto a un grupo de vecinos.

Según palabras de Moreno, «movilidad, limpieza y accesibilidad son demandas históricas de esta barriada, que se siente olvidada por el PP», recordando que este asentamiento, que data del siglo XVIII, tuvo obras de mejora en los años 80 por parte del Ayuntamiento de Málaga con el saneamiento y asfaltado de calles, pero que el equipo de gobierno de De la Torre no ha realizado ninguna nueva actuación cuando incluso está por desarrollar el Plan Especial aprobado en los años 90.

Por su parte, la concejala socialista Estefanía Martín Palop, ha afirmado que la Barriada de Las Cuevas «tiene todos los frentes abiertos mientras que el PP no ha hecho caso a estas necesidades».

Como causa de esta carencia de inversión, Las Cuevas presenta falta de infraestructuras, falta de limpieza en las calles y falta de asfaltado y deficiencias en el mismo.

As a result of this lack of investment, Las Cuevas presents a lack of infrastructure, a lack of cleanliness in the streets and a lack of pavement and deficiencies.
