El secretario general del PSOE malagueño, Miguel Ángel Heredia, ha exigido este viernes al Gobierno central la transferencia «de forma inmediata» de 110 millones de euros para que los 113.000 alumnos de enseñanza media, ESO, bachillerato y FP en Andalucía puedan recibir ya la beca.

Ha anunciado que los socialistas han registrado dos iniciativas en el Congreso de los Diputados: una para que el Gobierno de Rajoy explique por qué motivo aún no ha pagado estas becas de alumnos andaluces de enseñanzas medias y otra para saber cuándo lo va a pagar.

Heredia, que ha mantenido una reunión con alumnos de Formación Profesional del Instituto de Enseñanza Secundaria La Rosaleda, ha incidido en que quiere que las becas se mantengan en los 3.000 euros porque son fundamentales para muchos alumnos de FP, al tiempo que ha recordado que «son unas becas que no son para matrícula, son para evitar el abandono temprano de muchos alumnos».
