Las playas de Málaga estarán listas para Semana Santa – Málaga 24h

Las playas de la capital, ahora afectadas por el fuerte oleaje que está azotando el litoral desde el domingo, estarán listas antes del comienzo de la próxima Semana Santa, que se celebrará entre el 9 y el 16 de abril.
Este es el compromiso al que llegaron ayer el Ayuntamiento de la capital y la Demarcación de Costas, que ya han acordado un reparto de las tareas pendientes.
Los servicios municipales se ocuparán de las obras para reparar los destrozos en el paseo marítimo; la limpieza y otros servicios afectados.

Mientras que el organismo estatal se hará cargo de recuperar la anchura del arenal: corregirá los escalones y las bermas, hará un reperfilado y algún aporte puntual de material donde sea necesario.

Lo peor en este ámbito está en la cala de los Baños del Carmen, que casi ha desaparecido barrida por las olas. La arena se ha reducido a apenas un puñado de metros. En la terraza del restaurante, donde sólo está operativo el salón, las olas saltan a varios metros de altura sobre el malecón.
El alcalde de Málaga, Francisco de la Torre, mantuvo ayer reuniones con los representantes de la asociación de vecinos El Limonar-Miramar, para explicarles la situación que se ha vivido en esta zona.
