Iglesias ve viable un referéndum sobre Cataluña en toda España – Málaga 24h TV

El líder de Podemos, Pablo Iglesias, ha calificado este miércoles viable la posibilidad de que el conjunto de los españoles votara en un hipotético referéndum sobre Cataluña. Posteriormente ha añadido que habrá que contar lo que han votado los ciudadanos catalanes.
Iglesias ha señalado en Los desayunos de TVE, que esta fórmula ya ha sido defendida por el presidente de la Generalitat, Carles Puigdemont, y que para es el correcta. A pesar de ello insiste que ese referéndum sea «legal» y «pactado».
El secretario general de Podemos cree que en el marco de la Constitución española es posible encontrar una solución negociada que pueda traducirse en esa consulta y que si hay voluntad política podría celebrarse incluso en todo el Estado.
No obstante, ha insistido en que Podemos defiende que ese referéndum tenga validez jurídica y que, por tanto, cuente con garantías y reconocimiento internacional. Para ello, ha dicho, «tiene que ser pactado». En cualquier caso, ha considerado una «barbaridad» y una «doble vara de medir» que, aunque las leyes lo permitan, alguien pueda ir a la cárcel por poner las urnas mientras se mantiene la «impunidad» para los corruptos.

English:The leader of We, Pablo Iglesias, has described viable Wednesday the possibility that the whole of the Spanish vote in a hypothetical referendum on Catalonia. Later he added that it will be necessary to count what the Catalan citizens voted for.
Iglesias has pointed out in TVEs’ breakfasts, that this formula has already been defended by the President of the Generalitat, Carles Puigdemont, and that for it is correct. Nevertheless, he insists that this referendum be «legal» and «agreed».
The Secretary-General of Podemos believes that within the framework of the Spanish Constitution it is possible to find a negotiated solution that can be translated into that consultation and that if there is political will could be held even throughout the State.
However, he has insisted that We can defend that this referendum has legal validity and that, therefore, it has guarantees and international recognition. To this end, he has said, «it has to be agreed.» In any case, he has considered a «barbarity» and a «double yardstick» that, although the law allows, someone can go to jail for putting the polls while maintaining «impunity» for the corrupt.
