Médicos y pacientes velarán por el cumplimiento de plazos del nuevo hospital

El Colegio de Médicos de Málaga y 22 asociaciones de pacientes han anunciado la creación del que denominan Observatorio 2024 para velar por el cumplimiento del compromiso y los plazos anunciados por la consejera de Salud, Marina Álvarez. La consejera fija en ese año, 2024, la puesta en marcha de un nuevo centro hospitalario en terrenos situados detrás del Materno Infantil de la capital malagueña y que pertenecen a la Diputación. El presidente del Colegio de Médicos, el doctor Juan José Sánchez Luque, ha valorado el compromiso adquirido por la Administración andaluza pero ha advertido de que facultativos y pacientes estarán pendientes de que se cumpla.

Para Sánchez Luque otro aspecto importante es que se deben garantizar los servicios que actualmente ofrece La Noria y concretar no sólo su futura ubicación sino también la de entidades que tienen su sede allí.
