Asamblea entre CCOO y UGT en Sevilla

Este martes ha tenido lugar una Asamblea entre CCOO y UGT en Sevilla en la que han participado los secretarios generales de CCOO y UGT, Unai Sordo y Pepe Álvarez con el objetivo de valorar el 8M.

Los dirigentes sindicales han advertido de que la movilización por el 8-M «no es partidista y no tiene que ver con la dinámica de ningún partido», pero sí es una jornada de «lucha política», con una vertiente ideológica, que además será «un punto de inflexión».

En rueda de prensa antes de participar en la asamblea, ambos dirigentes sindicales han explicado que se trata de una jornada con vocación internacional dentro del movimiento feminista y tiene «un claro sesgo ideológico» porque quieren una sociedad igualitaria.

Por su parte, el secretario general de CCOO-A, Unai Sordo, ha considerado que el 8-M será una «fecha histórica de movilización social y laboral» porque «las desigualdades entres hombres y mujeres tienen muchas vertientes».
Según ha explicado, es cultural, histórico y basado en un concepto patriarcal.

Desde los sindicatos esperan que el acto del día 8 de marzo «no se quede solo en palabras», teniendo en cuenta que la brecha salarial entre hombres y mujeres se sitúa en el 24 por ciento y la brecha de las pensiones alcanza el 35 por ciento.

From the unions expect that the act of March 8 «not be left alone in words», taking into account that the wage gap between men and women is at 24 percent and the pension gap reaches 35 percent .
