Gobierno y Junta la afección pesquera de la extracción de arena tras el temporal

Gobierno central y Junta de Andalucía se han reunido este martes para cotejar y contrastar sendos informes de la Dirección General de Costas del Ministerio y la Dirección General de Pesca de la Consejería de Agricultura que «discrepan» sobre cómo afectan a ciertas especies pesqueras de la zona de la desembocadura del Guadalquivir, como la chirla, las extracción de arena en esa zona para la regeneración de playas de Cádiz y Huelva tras el temporal de los últimos meses.

El delegado del Gobierno en Andalucía, Antonio Sanz, y el consejero de Medio Ambiente y Ordenación del Territorio, José Fiscal, han presidido la reunión de la Comisión Interadministrativa que coordina las ayudas por los temporales en las costas andaluzas, donde estaban presentes responsables de las demarcaciones de Costas de Huelva y Cádiz, subdelegados del Gobierno en ambas provincias o presidentes de diputaciones, y donde se han analizado tanto los informes de la Dirección General de Costas, de técnicos de la Consejería de Medio Ambiente o de la Dirección General de Pesca de la Junta.

El delegado ha recordado que el pasado viernes el Consejo de Ministros ha aprobado actuaciones por 35,6 millones para actuaciones en Andalucía, en concreto diez millones para actuar sobre 12 kilómetros de costa en Huelva y otros 20 millones en 16 municipios y 67 playas de la provincia de Cádiz.

Tanto Sanz como Fiscal han destacado la posición «constructiva» de ambas administraciones y ambos se han mostrado «optimistas» en encontrar soluciones «que definan si es posible extraer la arena de esa zona o no».

The delegate recalled that last Friday the Council of Ministers approved actions for 35.6 million for actions in Andalusia, specifically ten million to act on 12 kilometers of coastline in Huelva and another 20 million in 16 municipalities and 67 beaches of the province of Cádiz.

Both Sanz and Fiscal have highlighted the «constructive» position of both administrations and both have been «optimistic» in finding solutions «that define whether it is possible to extract the sand from that area or not.»
