Citan como investigado al celador que llevaba a la joven que murió en un ascensor de Valme
La juez de Instrucción número 1 de Sevilla que instruye la causa abierta por el accidente mortal registrado en el Hospital Virgen de Valme el pasado 20 de agosto de 2017 por el que falleció la joven Rocío Cortés cuando era trasladada en camilla en un ascensor tras dar a luz a su tercer hijo, ha citado en calidad de investigado al celador que transportaba a la víctima en el momento de los hechos.
En una providencia, la magistrada manda tomar declaración el próximo 18 de junio como investigado al celador en esta causa, en la que ya se encuentra como investigado el operario de la empresa de ascensores Orona encargada del mantenimiento de los ascensores del Hospital quien negó «intervención o manipulación» alguna por su parte que provocara el movimiento del elevador.
En el atestado policial, los agentes concluyen que, «tras haberse descartado los fallos mecánicos, eléctricos y electrónicos del ascensor, la única hipótesis factible de la causa del fatal accidente es un fallo humano producido por una manipulación incorrecta del ascensorista».
