La Autoridad Portuaria recibe el premio ‘Importante del Turismo 2017’

El Skal Internacional ha concedido a la Autoridad Portuaria de Málaga su premio ‘Importante del Turismo 2017’, como reconocimiento a la labor realizada en pro del desarrollo turístico de la ciudad de Málaga y su Costa del Sol.

El pasado año 2017, el Puerto de Málaga cumplió el 200 Aniversario de la construcción de La Farola la cual se ha convertido en un símbolo turístico de la ciudad y el próximo 28 de septiembre se conmemorará este aniversario en el Real Club Mediterráneo de Málaga, junto con la entrega del galardón, al presidente de la Autoridad Portuaria, Paulino Plata.

Durante las últimas décadas, el puerto de Málaga ha experimentado una importante transformación, gracias a una importante inversión en infraestructura, mediante la puesta en marcha de tres terminales de crucero, las cuales son capaces de acoger a los buques de mayor tamaño que existen en la actualidad.

Por otro lado, hay que destacar la creación de espacios de uso ciudadano que permiten la integración entre el centro histórico y el recinto portuario con un total de diez millones de visitas al año.
