La presidenta de la Junta, Susana Díaz, anunció este miércoles la incorporación de 17.000 beneficiarios más a la Ley de Dependencia a partir de este mes de septiembre en Andalucía, al tiempo que ha pedido una mayor aportación al Gobierno de la Nación en esta materia para alcanzar el 50 por ciento que marca la ley.

Durante su discurso tras visitar la residencia de mayores ‘Manuel Ridruejo’ en Sevilla, Díaz ha confiado en la «sensibilidad» del actual Ejecutivo central para incrementar la aportación estatal a la dependencia y alcanzar el 50 por ciento que marca la ley, al igual que ya ha aprobado devolver las cotizaciones sociales a las cuidadoras.

En la actualidad la administración andaluza viene sufragando el 82 por ciento del coste de la dependencia, con un presupuesto de en torno a los 1.200 millones de euros al año.
