El IFAPA enseñará con divertidos talleres la investigación científica que mejora la calidad agraria

El Instituto de Investigación y Formación Agraria y Pesquera enseñará con divertidos talleres la investigación científica que mejora la calidad agraria.
Las actividades, que se enmarcan en la Noche Europea de los investigadores, celebrado simultáneamente este 28 de septiembre en más de 250 ciudades de 32 países europeos, se realizarán a partir de las seis de la tarde en un estand instalado por IFAPA en el Paseo del Parque de Málaga.
La delegada de Educación, Patricia Alba, junto a la concejala de Cultura en el Ayuntamiento de Málaga, Gema del Corral, el vicerrector de Investigación y Transferencia de la UMA, Teodomiro López, y el director técnico de Parques y Jardines del Ayuntamiento, Javier Gutiérrez del Álamo, ha presentado este evento en el rectorado de la UMA.
La ciudadanía tendrá la oportunidad de participar en divertidas actividades, entre las que destacan experimentos para extraer el ADN de alimentos o cuentacuentos teatralizados, orientados al público infantil.
El Stand de IFAPA dispondrá de 4 talleres diferentes, con una duración aproximada de 30 minutos, cada uno de ellos, que serán repetidos a lo largo de la tarde del viernes, ofreciendo así mayor acceso a la ciudadanía interesada en participar.
El IFAPA, con dos sedes en Málaga, ubicadas en las barriadas de Churriana y Campanillas, cuenta con 35 investigadores y técnicos de transferencia y formación, que se dedican a las más diversas facetas de la investigación agraria, como es la mejora genética vegetal, el control biológico de plagas, o la gestión de recursos naturales.

The activities, which are part of the European Night of researchers, held simultaneously this September 28 in more than 250 cities in 32 European countries, will be held from six in the afternoon at a stand installed by IFAPA in the Paseo del Park of Malaga.
The delegate of Education, Patricia Alba, along with the Councilor for Culture in the City of Malaga, Gema del Corral, the Vice Chancellor for Research and Transfer of the UMA, Teodomiro López, and the Technical Director of Parks and Gardens of the City Council, Javier Gutiérrez del Álamo, has presented this event at the UMA Rectorate.
Citizens will have the opportunity to participate in fun activities, including experiments to extract food DNA or theatrical storytelling, aimed at children.
The IFAPA Stand will have 4 different workshops, with an approximate duration of 30 minutes, each of which will be repeated throughout the afternoon of Friday, thus offering greater access to citizens interested in participating.
The IFAPA, with two offices in Malaga, located in the neighborhoods of Churriana and Campanillas, has 35 researchers and transfer and training technicians, who are dedicated to the most diverse facets of agricultural research, such as plant genetic improvement, biological control of pests, or the management of natural resources.
