Noticia – La Guardia Civil investiga a 590 personas por maltrato animal en Málaga

El Servicio de Protección de la Naturaleza de la Guardia Civil ha revelado que durante el año pasado investigó o detuvo a 590 personas por delitos relacionados con el maltrato animal. Durante este periodo de tiempo se cursaron 16.625 denuncias en esta materia, 10.920 relacionadas con animales de compañía, 3.974 con animales peligrosos y 1.731 con razas caninas peligrosas. Además, han anunciado que más de un 10% de las actuaciones que se llevaron a cabo se vinculan a lesiones o muerte de animales. Los agentes han llevado a cabo durante 2018 la operación contra el maltrato y el abandono de animales domésticos, con la que han investigado a 55 personas y se han intervenido e inmovilizado a 233 animales.
