Noticia – Proteccion de la Alhambra en caso de incendio

A raíz de lo sucedido en la catedral de Notre Dame, cabe indicar que algunos monumentos españoles tienen medidas de protección específicas contra incendios. Uno de ellos es la Alhambra de Granada, que tiene diseñado un programa que se activa en caso de fuego. En total, seis habitaciones con sistemas anti incendios distribuidas por todo el recinto. En el interior de estos habitáculos, perfectamente camuflados para que pasen desapercibidos al visitante, hay mangueras, bocas de agua, palas y extintores. Las mangueras llegan a cualquier punto del recinto, así quedan cubiertos todos los edificios y jardines de la Alhambra. Pese a que la mayor parte del monumeto es de piedra, se tiene especial cuidado con los techos, ventanales y artesonados de madera, que tienen un mayor riesgo de incendio.

The hoses reach any point of the site, thus covering all the buildings and gardens of the Alhambra. Despite the fact that most of the monumet is made of stone, special care is taken with the ceilings, windows and coffered ceilings, which have a greater risk of fire.
