Málaga 24h TV – 408 trabajadores murieron en accidente laboral hasta agosto

Un total de 408 trabajadores fallecieron en accidente laboral entre enero y agosto de este año, 22 más que en el mismo periodo de 2015, lo que supone un incremento en términos relativos del 5,7%, según datos del Ministerio de Empleo y Seguridad Social.

De estos fallecimientos, 306 se produjeron durante la jornada de trabajo, 16 menos que en los ocho primeros meses de 2015, lo que implica una caída del 5%. Los 102 accidentes mortales restantes registrados hasta agosto fueron ‘in itínere’ (los que se producen en el trayecto de casa al trabajo y viceversa), un 59,4% más.

En los ocho primeros meses del año se contabilizaron 364.703 accidentes laborales con baja, lo que supone un aumento del 7,5% respecto al número de siniestros del mismo periodo de 2015, cuando se produjeron 339.190 accidentes.
