Málaga 24h TV – PSOE exige que se reforme la ley del sector eléctrico y garantice el bono social

El secretario general del grupo socialista en el Congreso, Miguel Ángel Heredia, ha presentado este viernes una Proposición No de Ley en la que exige al Gobierno que reforme la Ley del Sector Eléctrico para asegurar el suministro a consumidores vulnerables.

Además, ha instado al Ejecutivo a que garantice el bono social pese a la sentencia del Tribunal Supremo del pasado 26 de octubre, que anulaba el régimen de financiación de esta ayuda.

Heredia ha explicado que el bono social eléctrico «fue creado en 2009 por el Gobierno socialista para proteger a los ciudadanos que pertenecen a determinados colectivos de consumidores vulnerables», añadiendo que esta ayuda beneficia a algo más de 2,4 millones de españoles.

El Tribunal Supremo declaró como inaplicable el régimen de financiación del bono social de la luz al considerarlo incompatible con la directiva europea sobre normas comunes para el mercado interior de la electricidad. En la sentencia, estimaba que el bono social no debe ser financiado por las eléctricas, como ocurre desde 2014, y les reconoce el derecho a la indemnización.

The general secretary of the socialist group in Congress, Miguel Angel Heredia, presented this Friday a Non-Law Proposition in which it requires the Government to reform the Law of the Electric Sector to ensure provision to vulnerable consumers.

The Supreme Court ruled as inapplicable the financing scheme for the social bond of light as incompatible with the European directive on common rules for the internal market for electricity. In the ruling, he estimated that the social bond should not be financed by electricity companies, as it has been since 2014, and it recognizes the right to compensation.
