El portavoz de Ciudadanos en el Ayuntamiento de Málaga, Juan Cassá, ha asegurado que la formación llevará al Pleno y a la negociación presupuestaria de 2017 la rehabilitación de la plaza del Patrocinio, la antesala para acceder al cementerio de San Miguel de la capital malagueña.
Cassá, que ha visitado este viernes la plaza del Patrocinio, ha señalado que el camposanto «es una de las principales joyas del patrimonio de Málaga, y esta plaza no está a la altura», a lo que ha añadido que la configuración urbana de este entorno es «caótica».
«La plaza sirve de desordenado, hay descampados, suciedad, elementos con valor histórico estropeados, como una cruz del siglo SVII y un pozo del XIX», ha matizado el portavoz.
Según ha explicado, «es necesario abordar esta obra porque nos permitirá seguir apostando por la mejora de este histórico cementerio», añadiendo que la formación quiere «descentralizar la oferta turística y cultural, pero a la vez pensamos que es una actuación muy importante para los vecinos de Fuente Olletas, Capuchinos o Las Flores». Cassá ha adelantado que los técnicos del Área de Urbanismo «están redactando el proyecto».
