Los comercios de Benalmádena tendrán libertad para abrir en verano y Semana Santa – Málaga 24h TV

La Junta de Andalucía ha comunicado al Ayuntamiento de Benalmádena la renovación de la declaración de este municipio malagueño como zona de gran afluencia turística, una condición que permite la apertura de comercios en jornadas festivas y en verano.

Esta distinción, que permanecerá vigente hasta 2020, año en que deberá ser renovada, será efectiva en los tres núcleos urbanos de la localidad.

De este modo, los establecimientos comerciales de Benalmádena mantendrán plena libertad para determinar los días y las horas de apertura al público desde el 1 de julio al 15 de septiembre, cuando la población del municipio llega a triplicarse por la afluencia de turistas, y también en Semana Santa

Con esta declaración, la Dirección General de Comercio del Gobierno autonómico pretende fortalecer la competitividad de los destinos turísticos.

Benalmádena es el tercer municipio andaluz con mayor número de pernoctaciones, solo por detrás de Torremolinos y Roquetas de Mar, y registra una ocupación hotelera cercana al 70 por ciento, una cifra que aumenta de forma considerable durante los meses de verano.

La localidad malagueña suma cada año más de medio millón de turistas.
Además de Benalmádena, la Junta considera zonas de afluencia turística Estepona, Fuengirola, determinados espacios de Málaga capital, Manilva, Marbella, Mijas, Nerja, Rincón de la Victoria y Torremolinos.

Benalmadena is the third Andalusian municipality with the highest number of overnight stays, just behind Torremolinos and Roquetas de Mar, and has a hotel occupancy of close to 70 percent, a figure that increases considerably during the summer months.
The town of Malaga annually adds more than half a million tourists.

In addition to Benalmádena, the Board considers tourist areas of Estepona, Fuengirola, certain areas of Malaga capital, Manilva, Marbella, Mijas, Nerja, Rincón de la Victoria and Torremolinos.
